Challenges of teachers in new normal during Covid-19 pandemic      Governments around the world have closed schools and educational institutions as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic, in an effort to flatten the curve and stop the spread of the coronavirus. School closures have affected about 70% of the world's student population, or approximately 1.2 billion students, as of May 2020. (UNESCO, 2020). Education has remained face to face or changed to either synchronous or asynchronous online schooling, or a hybrid of both, depending on where students live in the world.         The severity of COVID-19 has forced teachers to shift to online learning in order to sustain teaching and learning continuity. The phases of Movement Control Order (MCO), Conditional MCO, and Restricted MCO have resulted in the closure of the institution for an extended period.  Within affected areas, there are schools.
